I added a new mod to the forum that gives it a better captcha (the weird letters that you have to type in) for registration and guest posting. This will hopefully cut down on some of the spam. However, the mod didn't install smoothly and I had to go in and manually edit some of the code.
If anyone has any problems posting or whatever, please let me know.

oh it will work, trust me, i used it on my other site an it worked, ReCAPTACHA is what i use
planning to put it on Anime Remix soon and fix it cuz it wont smoothly install :(

How wonderful, I awoke today to find 2 spam messages in off-topic. Glad to see it worked...

It's not that they can get past it. There's no CAPCHA in the guest reply area. My guess is that TP is screwing it up.

Anyways, I just banned all @mail.com people from posting. Hope that helps.

Hmm, well I guess ill have to get to the bottom of that, or disable guest posting.

um... i just tried to send a message, but it failed, saying that the letters i entered didn't match the letters in the box. there was no box. i tried multiple times, but got the same result. i'm guessing that this is related to the new captcha, so im posting my problem here.
