Yeah! I finished it! I really did enjoy it, it kinda reminded me of azumanga daioh alot.

I Have a question though: Why did it end so abruptly? At the end of the third ova they were in the plane together and said "Take this happy couple to Tokyo U!!" and it ended.

In the Manga, did they end up going back to the apartments? Or did they just go to Tokyo U and wait for the rest to join them? My question is: In the Manga, did the main 'group' stick together? or did they do it like in the anime and only Keitaro and Naru go, with the others keeping it as a goal to achieve?

I really, really liked it. ;D

well, as for OAV 3 ending weird, from wikipedia, "However, the story had not ended at the OVA, for those who had purchased the Love Hina Again Original Soundtrack, there were drama tracks at the beginning of the CD, which is in fact, the OVA episode 4."

But as a whole, the anime and the manga were pretty different, I don't think the final 2 volumes were ever animated, and many things were left out.

I don't remember what happened at the end, sorry.

So wait.. there is fourth episode out there, or is it 'hidden'?

Thanks for your input, anyone else have a clue as to what happened in the end? Also, is it worth it to get the mangas?

Apparently, it is worth getting the manga because a lot is missed out in the anime (e.g. the girl from Keitaro's past is never truly explained in the anime).

Yup the manga is definitely worth getting, I've read it and as you say lots more is explained in it.

OK 1) do the characters change drastically ? Cause I kinda liked them in the anime and it would kill the 'feel' if they were signifigantly different.

2) how much does all 14 volumes cost?

Personally I didn't felt any difference in their personality when I read the manga....except the feeling from switching from anime directly to manga. But that's just me.

Price: no idea, only know what they cost here in sweden

The manga ends with a short story of this girl who checks in at the hinata apartments, and basically relive what happened to Keitarou when he first entered the place... It then ends with Keitarou and Naru getting married...

i am the local love hina fanatic, and yes, the manga is worth a check out. It is very different throughout, and presents a much more meaningful representation of the character development. if you dont do anything with your anime collection ... do yourself a favor and pick up vols 1-14

i paid 50 bucks for the whole set, and the characters do change a bit, but not substantially. You learn a lot more about Motoko (she was Akamatsu-sama's (the author) favorite). There is a love interest rekindled for seta (you got a hint of it in the ova's but it is more explored in the manga) and the whole circumstance of g-ma hina as well as the backstory of the otohime's adds a lot to the series. like i said before, if you dont do anything else, read the manga...it is the first manga i ever read and to this day it is the best.

Oh ... Right ... It's just, it reminded me of what Saw says in the tape to Adam in the first movie as he wakes up... But now you say HL2... Sorry 'bout that. I'm terribly sorry...
