I would really like to know because it gets kind of boring playing around not really knowing anyone while you fight rabbits, lizards, and goblins all by yourself x_X

sounds like a good reason to stop playing

I'd like to, but the fact that they have no digital download for the game makes me sad.

I play EQ II and PotBS and I want to play AoC when it comes out, so maybe that's for the best. lol.

i know someone who started like a month ago, he's already gotten bored, its such a big empty landscape, no peoples.

Great game in theory, just not enough peoples.

I have played it for couple years already and starting the game isn't exactly easy. Game really starts after level 30 and getting there ain't a cake walk... more stuff to do after 30 but still doesn't get any easier... ..But it sure can get addictive, I can tell from experience >_<

There was a new expansion released just a couple months ago so that's why there probably ain't that many people prowling around the starter areas.

Oh no, it is fun.
I have a lot of friends that play xD
But they are on different worlds and they are too high of a level to want to switch.

Ah, it really depends on what world you are on. I play on Ragnarok and There are people everywhere. There aren't many out in the fields battling but there are many in the towns.
and the landscape is good, it mostly depends on where you start out, what level you are, and sometimes (not always) what race and class you are.

Like... In Bastok everything there is very empty it is supposed to be like that though because they are a town that mines to keep their town profit. So the whole area is just rock almost. But in the Windurst reigon it is very jungly. Trees, boulders, tall grass. It is the basics but that is a beginning town. Sand O 'ria is a town which I personally think is the best. It has many different themes for beginners. In the first section east and west of the town it is a forest. There are hidden areas not on your map, secret monsters come out at secret times, and they have a better variety of equipment and usually are first in the conquest (not always).

So yeah it is mostly dependent on location.

I am not sure what it was like before the expansion because I had started off with it... x_x

I'm sorry that I can't relate to that except for the part where it is a lot better after level 30.
