You&#39;re wrong. Hell 0 is a side product of Hell 3, while Hell 0/0 is a new project and was meant to be an offensive video right from the start.

i was there for the showing @ awa. it was definitely fun. but as zarx said, there was a LOT of truly disturbing pics. it felt like 2girls1cup becoming so popular over the last year was a huge influence in this. that being said, the most offensive clips wound up being used by multiple people, so.. it almost felt like &#39;oh noes, they did it again&#39; at times. There was a lot of originality all in all though. my fav clips had to be the ff7 and the ventrilo harrassment (get off my vent or i&#39;ll have you bannt!). now, if only the guys doing ironchef would have gotten their act together, cuz I left around 4:30am cuz i had to work again at 9am and at least wanted some sleep.

I just finished it. There were some sick clips but for the most part i was laughing too hard. It does help to have heard some of the sounds and/or some of the Anime that was used cause you know what they are making fun of and if u know what really happens, that makes it more funny.

Logos (partially removed, but you could tell which had 'em), sound issues (though it's likely the sources used), video quality issues, reused footage (even in the 'fix')...and I didn't find more than three clips genuinely funny, but I'm sure some high-schoolers got a kick out of it.

Ending was likely the best. And while not funny as a whole, it certainly got the gross thing down.

Saddens me that even in hell, people are most comfortable with sources already used T_T

While I didn't enjoy 0/0 as much as the original 0, it was still good and I had a lot of good laughs. That's not just because all four of my clips were accepted, either. Even ones that were "too easy" and face-palmingly obvious are acceptable. There were only a handful I didn't like. Good stuff overall.

But there is one thing that is really bothering me: What the hell is "Zenra Shoujo Zan Kubi"?? The video for the Weird Al decapitation clip? I tried Google and couldn't get anything but the AMV Hell / 0 credits. It looked very similar to some of Juan Gotoh's guro decapitation stuff like Application For Death. Is there any connection?

Just finished watching AMV /0, which I've been eagerly waiting to do for quite some time now.

By far my favorite part would have to be the credits... An awesome job on them like how they were done on AMV Hell 4.

I was a little bit surprised that no one did anything to that Lighthouse song Whatever It Takes, the second chorus of the song. If I had the know how and all I would of submitted a video clip for it but I don't have the software yet nor the experience... :P

I downloaded it only an hour after it was released so it took awhile. I think the only seeders at the time were Zarx and SSGWNBT.

But once I got to 100%, like 70 other people went into seeder mode. Then after just 5 minutes there were 200 seeders. Holy crap.

End the series, continue it, I don't care, they were all funny and brought amvs to a new level of quality and a new mainstream fandom. To SetosNiceGirl: Well, considering it's probably illegal in several parts of the world, I don't think you'll stumble across it on any old website. :P I'm pretty sure it's bittorent or nothing, my friend. You could get someone from the outside to send it to you somehow, put it up on Rapidshare or Megaupload or something, that too should work.

I also realize that I haven't reviewed the film yet, so here goes:

In my opinion, I detected absolutely no lull in quality as compared to any of the previous dual-efforts, and my applause go to the series' now lone director. Classic AMV Hell humour all the way through; clever, ironic, and satirical. After a few viewings, I came to realize that there was ample opportunity for really timeless clips, despite previous accusations (you would be hard-pressed to encounter a challenger to Corn, so that's not the best example ::)). The intro and credits of course were very well done and funny, just as they were for 3 and 4, so that was great to see as well.

SSGWNBTD seemed to be rather selective in the clips that were accepted, and I can assume this partly because it was only 45 minutes long. This made the video all the better, because where otherwise there would have been needless fluff thrown in to extend the watch, there were very few breaks in the general quality; because of this, I would actually consider the clips of /0 more amusing than 4 (that's on average, mind you, don't go nuts).

There are a few negative things to point out, however. The fact that there was a ludicrous amount of scat (and increased amount of guro/torture) in the film wasn't much of a problem for me, but I'd say if I had to nitpick some flaws one of them would be that. That being said, the scat clips were about as funny as any other (Chocolate Rain in particular made me lol heartily :D), so no complaints there. Another flaw was of course the repeated use of some songs and parts of hentais. It bothered me a bit, but wasn't a big concern. With the exception of Little Sister, it's not as though the same joke was made in two different ways; if a song or clip was repeated, the two versions usually served very different purposes. The intro was a little understated, I think SSGWNBTD could have done better, but I laughed anyway.

In conclusion, call me a sick pervert if you want, but I enjoyed it greatly. The clips were well-chosen, well-organized, funny of course, and horribly obscene, as one comes to expect from a "0" release. Despite my very few minor discrepancies, I'll continue to regard it with the same reverence and admiration as I have for any other film in the series. I also greatly hope that SSGWNBTD won't regard this as "The Last One" just yet, because I am of the opinion that he has a promising future ahead in the field of film-making, but of course, this is only for him to decide.

As for Split Second's query...I'd have to say my favourite one right now is either 3 or 0, to be honest. /0 is quickly starting to grow on me, however. It comes in as a close second, and I think with a few more viewings it might make it to first. I just need to decide whether these awesome clips can stand the test of time, that's me. :)

This is worse than 2 girls 1 cup in some spots. I think its worse in general because 2 girls 1 cup is over after 45 seconds. This goes on for 45 minutes! Believe me, its not the worst on the internet, but its up there.
