I must maybe disagree, I'm so on the fence with this movie, it falls spectacularly short of the novel yet was still great(I had the same problem when I watched Mushishi) I'll just have to do the same thing and watch it 3 more times whilst I puzzle it together

to be fair I'm thinking the same thing as Watchmen is just a better story bu I'm not sure the movie is better as it just falls so short of the graphic novel but it still turned out spectacular

Favorite movie =/= Knowing. That movie sucked. Horribly. The trailers made it seem incredible, but trailers are meant to show off the film's best points, which it did. Sadly, it showed ALL of the good points.

I have to admit, after watching the Twilight movie... I didn't like it. The books are so orgasmic, and yet the movie was so lacking. No internal monolgue for Bella. Contradicting the books by having James come earlier. Putting the sequence of events out of order for the first half of the movie. And I'm not one to usually critize a movie for this, but it had to be the worst directive style I have ever seen. The way they handled transitions was atrocious.

I've read the entire series 4 times now, but I doubt i'll re-watch the movie at all; and that is just sad.

well. i kinda agree..
the movie never have any chance of getting as good as the book.
the movie only have a couple of hours to fill it all in.
and in the books we always hear what they think. we cant hear that in the movie.
but i think it deserves 3 stars.

if i had been directing it, i would have kept the thoughts in. just like in the opening where bella is reading the prologue "i never imagiend how i would die...' bit. Have her keep reading along, keeping us in her head, explaining what is happening as it happens. The book is mostly in her head after all, and removing that is just crazy in my opinion.
