Why do people love Elfen Lied so much? To me the motivations of the heroes seem illogical and some parts, supposedly thought provoking, made me lol instead. Plus, they really could've done without all the typical "jealous girl" humor.
I'm not saying EL is bad, it's just not as good as it could be and there's a whole bunch of better anime to enjoy. I'm still under the impression that EL gained it's popularity thanks to all the gory stuff happening.

I really didn't like the pink one (Miyuki) either. The conversation about food made me laugh though - the whole conversation was totally absurd. I guess it just depends on what kind of humor you like.

Same here. I never really got hooked on FMA. And some things were so outside the bounds of reality that me brain wanted to leave me head.

I hated it with all my heart. Grenadier felt like a bad Trigun rip-off with all the fun parts taken out and the main character changed to a big-boobed woman to cover up the ****iness.

Innocent Venus is EPIC! it's not ecchi at all if you haven't checked it out yet. It's kinda post apoctolyptic. Yes Claymore was good. PMK is Peace Maker Kurogane, which is a samurai show. And I unno if you haven't seen Strawberry Panic. But it's not an ecchi but it's about a lesbian school. So its hot lol.

Seems you've quit watching DBZ pretty early on. If you watched it more then you would know, than 6 episodes isn't that bad. In a fight between Freeza and Son Goku the former tries to destroy the planet and says it will explode in 5 minutes. They then proceed to fight for the next 3 episodes. The whole fight was more then 10 eps...

The simple answer is ?anime music videos that you have made?. If the source footage is entirely made up of non-anime sources, then it doesn't belong here. ?Anime? here is essentially defined as Japanese animation, including things like cutscenes from Final Fantasy games and so on.

Despite your inexplicable dislike of Advent Children, you seem to have your head on your shoulders right, which is a rarity around here. I'd have to say I back you on the Advent Children= anime thing, simply because it was made in japan and the characters are specifically designed to look like "normal" anime characters.

Also, since you mentioned Gurren Lagann as one of your favorites, I highly suggest the "Through the Fire and the Flames" video over in the other videos section of the forums.

I know you already accepted your defeat, but I just wanted to add this. Remember that I said that 'anime' is short for animation. And in Japan, the word anime is used for all kinds of animation. So Final Fantasy VII Advent Children as well :P

I saw that posted yesterday when I first came back to the forums, though I haven't watched it yet. There aren't a whole lot of TTGL AMVs out yet, though the few I've seen were pretty good (Pilot in the Sky of Dreams, Be a Man, Gurren 300).

Seems you've quit watching DBZ pretty early on. If you watched it more then you would know, than 6 episodes isn't that bad. In a fight between Freeza and Son Goku the former tries to destroy the planet and says it will explode in 5 minutes. They then proceed to fight for the next 3 episodes. The whole fight was more then 10 eps...
