I currently have no internet at my house. I have programs to make movies but no means to download and edit video/audio into AMV formats.
I've submitted only two clips to the series, and I'd love to submit more. I get ideas every other day it seems. But I just don't have the means to do it right now?
What should I do? Sit on my hands until things improve?
Suggestions?

You can use these things called dvds. They even carry them at some rental stores.

Better yet if you live in America subscribe to Netflix.

It's only 7.99/per month. (next buisness day free shipping)
You obviously have some sort of accesses to the internet so just set your queue once and just send back the DVD you received to get the next one.

Okay let me be more specific. I have ideas (that I do write down) and the source material to work from on disc. I just don't have the right programs to retrieve video from a DVD nor do I have the ability of using torrents for other things I don't have.

I just don't have internet. I have programs to edit clips...just not rip or retrieve video.

You could just simply throw your idea out here for our lovely little community to handle, in exchange for half of the credit for the AMV.

...That sounds awfully suspicious.
And, what if any among you don't like the ideas?

Lol? There's an entire thread like that and I don't think one of anyone's ideas have been picked up XD

There's DVDVideoSoft Free Stuio, it's free and comes with a huge number of audio/video/youtube/editing programs

It may not be what you want, but at least you can rip video off DVD's and convert it to something else.

I might check it out...provided I can smuggle it with a flash drive...
