Hello one and all,
I slapped together this .srt file for "AMV Hell 0" as a test to see how much time and effort would go into doing "AMV Hell 3". (A bit but not too bad.)
It's basically the credits as listed on the web page converted into an SRT and then timed to the clips in an unprofessional manner like so:
Anime
Song
Artist
Editor
Like I said, just like on the web page.
Here's the file: http://www.MegaShare.com/252650
I did this as it gives you the possibility to match anime and song, as well as the editor of course, straight to what you are seeing and it can always just be turned off.
I did a quick check and it appears to work fine in MPC, MPlayer (for windows), Windows Media Player (both the good old one and some version of the crappy graphical one, newer, one).
I made it so that the text is visible for four seconds or until the next clip begins and I've tried to time the start to right when the TV frame is pulled out of sight.
I debated doing it so the text would stay until the start of the next clip, but four seconds is plenty of time and you can always rewind and pause.
I hoping this doesn't piss the AMV crew off as I'm just trying to enhance the experience.
Feel free to do whatever with the file, aside from claiming it's your work, I'll be pissed and say angry sounding words.
Don't hold your breaths for the "AMV Hell 3" one, but I plan on doing it once I have time to burn and I'll post it here as long as this one doesn't catch to much flack.
Until then.
