it's for the DS. it'a not realy a "JRPG" either, more of a dungeon crawler. it's a really short game so you could beat in by renting it (if you could find it) but the humor in the game is top notch.

Yeah, after checking on screenshots for bioshock (specifically its health-bar) I figured out that it probably wasn't bioshock. I never remembered what any of the keypads looked like in the demo (if there were any). I just wanted to point out that I also had that as my first impression.

I've only played or followed a select number of games (pc and otherwise), so I'm bound to be wrong on most of these unless it's a rather obvious one, or some obscure one I've happened to played. I'm bound to be no good at this one because of that, but I'll try chime in from time to time. ^_^;

It will be interesting when we get to the mods of for example Unreal Tournament... I'm assuming the posters will pick something that makes it obvious that it was one (and which) of the mods it might be? :P

Best and most evil are two different things. It's easy for developers to just go overboard with evil characters and make them completely unbelievable. KotoR and Fable are two series where an evil character has to be so extreme that you often end up with a dumb looking story. The thing that really makes Shodan great is the relationship you have with her. She's not only your greatest enemy, the cause of the Von Braun's destruction, and a threat to humanity, she's also your only ally for most of the game. She displays both love (y-y-you are my avatar) and revulsion (...the only things of beauty in your disgusting flesh disgusting flesh disgusting flesh). I'd say most memorable is a better indicator than most evil.

Splitting hairs is getting hung up on minor technicalities. If I'd simply answered "no" because it was System Shock 2 instead of System Shock, I would be splitting hairs.

Again I didn't post any rules when I started this thread because I didn't expect people to be this stupid so I'm saying it right now: The screenshot has to be from an actual game that was released, and you should steer away from mods for games though now that we have one, you only have to guess what game the mod is for rather than the mod itself, for example if I posted a shot of hungry hungry baneling you'd only have to guess Starcraft 2

the really dark first picture was from after traveling through the mines and following the railroad right before you meet the resistance again and get the buggy and go on the coast level the second screen was from the dock where you first get the buggy before you are thrown into the ant lion pit

actualy a 5v5 up top with 3 kills in the first 5 mins is impressive, but I dont think the item you bought (cant remember the name) is a poor choice at the beginning of the match.

yeah hes doing well as twitch, but if you look, its 4 kills to 3. he has 3 kills, so that means the rest of his team combines for 1 kill and 4 deaths.
also, vampiric sceptor is a pretty decent start item since it keeps him laning longer by stealing hp back, and he is likely to turn it into blood thirster later.

whatever they were pretty even. They both had there good the bad and the just plan ugly games.

the dreamcast got shenmue and shenmue 2 both great in the graphics department

the ps2 got the shadow of collossus and ico awsome graphics.

so that said lets call it even.

Unfortunately I did miss out on that consolel, and never really felt like getting one since a lot of the games could be gotten on the PS2, GC, or Xbox.

while a lot of the games could, the best couldn't, actually someone stole my dreamcast and I've been meaning to get it replaced for the Shenmue games (which I'm sorry to point out aren't graphical marvels for the system, they were more content oriented so the graphics are about average for the system) and other games like illbleed

Well I have played only Age of Empires 3 standard. So I can't tell this from personal experience. Anyways its written in the screenshot "The Titans". Thus it must be Age of Mythology The Titans expansion '^_^

Actually I'd say that not saying the expansion doesn't prevent you from getting it right, if someone posts of a pic of starcraft broodwar it's still starcraft and broodwar can have screenshots that make it indistinguishable from starcraft. Either way I did mention the expansion and moreover just saying AoE doesn't make you partially right, since AoM isn't an AoE mod but it's own game and while the two are similar they're distinctly different games, again I'd also say that if possible name which game in a series it is, though it's up to the original poster. I'm not trying to shoehorn any new rules in I'm just making suggestions to make the game run more smoothly (I play a lot of games and I really like RTS's though a broad number of genres appeal to me)
