hi thank you! yeah that part.. i had to cut it in from a later part of the song because the lyrics in between didn't fit anymore haha

first off, when you post a video its would be swell if you embeded the bloody thing [its the video reel icon that says insert video when you hover over it]

secondly **** dubstep

third, it doesnt have enough distortion to match said dubstep

forth, angel beats has enough scenes for the entire amv, multiple animes make it look like a cluster****

fifth, no clue what the hell are you trying to convey with this cluster****. i dont see no rythm or sync.

sixth, the subtitles are unessacery, unlike in the start the lyrics are comprehensible.

Well this seems like the best place as any to post - since my current status would certainly be sub-par in the visual quality realm.
But HEY! AMV Hell peoples! :D
I've been a fan since... well if it wasn't the first year it was certainly the second. Let's just say "like forever." Yeah.
I dunno, nobody's going to see this or anything, but **** on a shingle if it doesn't seem like I shouldn't be trying to do some work for any possible future AMV Hells.
*shrugs an awkward amount of times* I'm just lazy AF (especially since no one I know watches AMVs or barely even anime).
But hey (once more)! If you're bored and seen the same things a million times, there's this Weavly channel (I know, hold back your vomit; Weavly is just the easiest thing to use when you don't have a good editor... or downloaded anime to use... ;~;) I made and been slapping stuff on there.
One is even marked as especially "AMV Hell - worthy" because it's 30 seconds and uses pop references that I hope people would get (Ninja Sex Party, anyone?)
Otherwise, there's some decent "placeholders" for mostly fun, sometimes serious, "AMVs" (and even a PMV or two). If it makes you feel better, call them "alternative audio videos."

It is a program I have not used before so I am learning and have figured it out. Anyway, lip synching is a problem I have not been able to fix no matter what I do. What was ****ty about the ending? I would really like to know.

Yooo that was definitely not the most poorly animated fight scene. You have to be blind to think that, but then again it's all a matter of opinion or whatever. Action scenes to random music, it was synced up for the most part. If that's generic then all AMVs must be generic. Text / water marks were a bit distracting i will admit though. Someday I'm going to make a video comparing the Naruto vs Pain scene to other fight scenes from Naruto and going over why its bad animation. I've always wanted to do that.

Also, all AMV are not generic under my logic because not ever AMV is action scenes linked to random music. A lot of AMVs have an underlying theme or story. I mean, AMV Hell is about trying to match anime to audio that would make it funny, and the best clips are ones that have good synergy together.

Your editing is good, just need better video sources and an underlying theme in your videos would be nice.

the subs dont add anything to the viewing expierience, the singer is understandable enough without them
bad use of effects. its either too dark or solar flashes within a cloud of mist in a midle of the night.

Just a few thoughts. I'm a hack, so take them for what they're worth.

The shots of Luffy from above where his mouth is crazy wide open are more comical than serious, which doesn't fit with the tone. Also, from 0:22-0:36 (the yellowed out Luffy spin) is 14 seconds long, and in a video that's 82 seconds, represents a (much too long) 17% of the whole project. Maybe tighten it up so it doesn't feel so long? You'll get the same point across & the "momentum" won't come to a screeching halt.

Thats pretty cool, I think it would have been better if you could text from the scenes taken from the intro/credits.

Heres my review things that I promised, This amv has a nice flow to it, Like I said your effort is good. But I think this could have been improved if it had focused more a couple of fights instead of the 6 that you try to use, It would have been nice if you had stuck to using the main series footage for the part with the Ichigo vs ulquiorra instead of switching to the hell verse footage the change in animation style is rather noticeable, I personaly wasn't keen on the part near the end with what seemed to be random screens being thrown up in quick succession.

This one is weird it just seems to end even though it sounds like there is more music left to go, the main thing with this effort is it seems out of sync at times there are parts where if the audio had come in a couple of seconds later it would have synced up better. Not an issue for me but some people don't like it you have subtitles in parts of this.

Never heard the song before but it's a nice choice, To be honest I had hard time focusing on the animation to busy dancing to the beat, which is the biggest missed opportunity, You have this really sold dubstep beat but the animation doesn't really compliment it, this animation could have done with a more mellow slower beat. but that being said, I still like it.

Is this an intro song for an anime?It's really cutesy and bouncey, It looks like you ran out of footage and had to reuse footage which is a pity. The anime it's self looks interesting, there are parts in this that would have been benefited from some lip syncing. The main thing with the videos so far is pacing the animation does not complement the pace of the music.

It is a nice effort but the ending is abit to heavy with the variety of fights going on in a small space of time, I think you should try and focus on 1 or 2 fights that way it might feel tighter, also the ending just cuts off.

I'm not sure about this one, I didn't really like the song, but from what I did watch, as the tempo was getting faster the action was getting slower, to much doing nothing on screen when the music was being all about action.

Your main problem at this point is pacing.

What is this garbage? Just about everything was wrong with this AMV... The concept was ****, so it was already off on the wrong foot. As for the execution, even more pathetic. Did you make this in less than a minute, Chaz? I mean I don't think those poof timings could be any more off, the big breasted chick's lip flaps were painful and there really wasn't a strong punch line to bring the clip to a close. No matter what Zarx might believe, bouncing breasts does not equal funny, just look at AMV Hell 7. This also leads me to point out this clip is far from original. Everything until the end was pointless. Good job, you showed someone smiling when the lyrics said they were glad!

Hey AMV Hell people. Long time viewer since 1 and 2 were on SpikedHumor.com back in either 04 or 05, first time posting so I totally don't mean to come off as a spamming attention whore considering that this is my first post.

With that said, over the summer I wanted to take my own approach to the videos that have been coming out over the years since if it weren't for AMV Hell, I wouldn't be into anime or subsequently anime wallpapers for DeviantArt (http://facelessvixen.deviantart.com/) and TheAnimeGallery (http://www.theanimegallery.com/info/user:67650) or video editing. ...So in other words, I'm another AMV Hell copycat that should most likely be stoned to death.

The video is called "Ikkitousen: To Hell With It (http://facelessvixen.deviantart.com/art/Ikkitousen-To-Hell-With-It-Video-545795405)." Yes. I know. Not the best anime (and I'm pretty sure that my name for the video is neither clever or amusing as well). In fact, even I looked down on it at the height of my Evangelion fanboyism in 09, but the show eventually grew on me and I managed to get about 15 to 20 minutes worth of humor out of it.

Since I did use some of the more NSFW scenes, I am piecemealing it onto YouTube; creating more safe for work versions of certain clips so that I don't have any issues with nudity on YouTube, and I'll also expand and compile shorter scenes so that each video will be at least a minute long while the original will be on MediaFire and 4shared. . ...assuming that people care.

So with all that said including my self deification, here's a little piece of it. Again, well aware that "Threw It on The Ground" is overused which is why I didn't submit anything for AMV Hell 8.

I thought the second half was fine. I did think the character introductions seemed a little throw in though. If you had showcased those characters, then it would've fit, but it didn't end up having any relevance to the second half.
But minor discrepancies are fine as ling as the editing is spot on. Which it was in this case.

While I've seen alot worse, i have seen better.

- You can't cut it at his point with low quality stuff, especially ripping episodes off of stream sites. Sailor Moon Crystal doesn't need to look any more fugly if you ask me. Strongly suggest you pay attention to those guides so your effort isn't a complete waste that doesn't stand up.

- Work on your lip syncing. You don't have to go to the lengths that TFS does, but just make it enough to fool the human eye, whish is easy to do.

- At the very least I didn't see you use SUBTITLES!!! so there's that.

- Sorry, didn't exactly laugh all through that though amv hell was never all about comedy. Everything just felt...uninspired?

- I at least reacted a bit to the one punch man joke with dbz. Better than nothing.

Just....stop using low quality sources next time.

Let me redo that one...People won't take it seriously in comparison to amv hell if you are taking your sources from stream sites as evidence by the watermark, and quality.

I forget still that we all never started off knowing all the ends and outs, and only saw improving by jumping in the deep end. For that i'm sorry. You have to meet this half way though, as we have had one too many users not listen to our advice, and continue doing the same thing.

That was pretty good. If i had one problem is the video seemed to lose its momentum during the townspeople burning bit as i've seen that anime, and that was a too much time to not cut anything. Those black fade outs would have helped there in my opinion.

Nicely done. Energetic with a good song choice that seems to compliment the show well though i have yet to see it myself.

The cuts have polish to them with the beat. Especially like the "Standing eye to eye" part at 1:53. I love slick editing like that.

Nice quality overall, but couple of things...probably just me, but is showing your name needed? It's not like you can make money off this, and I'd consider that I did something right if someone re uploaded my stuff - again, it's just me. Also, you have to make sure you get raws if possible to not allow op/end text to show as that also looks tacky, and undermines the effort put in.

I kinda liked that cover - nice song choice, and you knew how to let the beat dictate the editing well. Always comes off better when editors do that, and it doesn't seem like they are just slapping filler footage everywhere to get to certain parts. That said, i think you repeated a clip somewhere, but seemed like an artistic choice. Good job, but make more of an effort to not let that text show.

Good stuff. You consistently edit to the beat, hold off on artificial effects, and limit the amount of pointless mouth moving which is very appreciated.

Also, you had a great sense of kicking the tempo up with the editing, and that kept me into it - just awesome!

For anyone who hasn't seen this anime,
think about how Death Note was about an unstable killer trying to stay anonymous.

This anime is about a crazy girl who forms a **** relationship with a child she found on the street,
and she won't hesitate to kill anyone who gets in her way. Much like Death Note, she wants to avoid being caught.

Wish I watched the anime before looking at that - felt I would have gotten alot more out of it, but you still remain solid, as always.

If I had any complaint it seemed like it just ended abruptly....Strange for an amv hell editor to say that.

So I thought I'd let him say the refrain once more and try to force an end.
Evidently it's not as natural as I'd have liked, but I was too pleased with the rest of the video to not try it lol

1:29 - 1:33. I wanted to see more stuff like that to transition more smoothly between the animes. The editing is no doubt solid, but it's lacking in terms of transitioning smoothly so I can see a connection/story going on. That can be as simple as similar movements like that was. You still did good, but i'm just a sucker for that stuff. >_>
