actually.. well how about i just say this.
the absence of color actually by definition = the thing that we call the color black. when black is in all reality not a color at all but an absence of color completely. where as white is in all reality a perfect balance of all colors that is so bright that is appears white.... well all this is true as far as light goes. now paint on the other hand is the complete opposite. mix all ur colors and u get something like black.
