on my laptop i was checking which of my subscribed threads had new posts here, and i was in the middle of making an amv, and i was also downloading a cd.
It was basically a very important time at the office.

so what does my visiting friend do? he bursts into my room and powers off the laptop via the button....

by the time i realised what had happened, he was gone. so in my rage i grabbed the nearest solid object (a blue plastic dish) and smashed it against the wall.

i went outside to cool off before i broke anything else, and then i saw an old soccer ball that we never use, so i rage-kicked it into orbit... i tell ya, it felt good

For those wondering: I AM ALIVE!

I had a rather close call or two, but I'm recovering at this point. I had my last major surgery (for a while at least!) on august 17th. There were some complications, and as mentioned, i kinda nearly died. It was bad enough my family held a vigil over for two nights, not sure if I was going to make it till morning. It was bad enough I needed seven blood transfusions to replace all the blood I lost from bleeding. And it was bad enough that drugs like Morphine and Vicoden were not strong enough for the pain, and i was forced to go a tier of pain killers higher than i knew existed.

So yea, the last few weeks have not been kind.

Still, i am out of the hospital now, and the pain is at levels i can think around. I can once again walk, shower, and get dressed on my own, so yea! I still sleep a lot, and i'm not able to use my laptop much, but i did want to pass on the news that i was, you know, not dead.

so, how are things in hell? :)

There has been a leakage about your condition though. Probably about a week after your operation, so we knew that at least you were still hanging on then.

Don't know much, I have been away myself for some time, though for more trivial reasons.

I do appreciate all the kind words. I'm not surprised Issi mentioned things, since he was calling me practically daily afterwards. It was kind of funny, as every time my phone rang i knew it was either Issi or a bill collector, and it became something i could count on: death, taxes, and issi calling (rolls eyes).

Still, the bottom line is that I'm recovering, and can function well enough to tell people that now :)

as far underdosing... like hell I did lol. I was getting a shot of morphine every six minutes - six minutes! - with a self medicating push pump. it was timed to go limit it to 6 minutes to prevent over dosages, and i hit the thing at every chance i could. as my doctor said, i have the the lowest pain tolerence of anyone she has seen, as well as a metabolism which burns through medication far too quickly. the maximum dose of morphine lasted me an hour, tops. the nursess thought i was faking pain as i was addicted, and were afraid i was going to over dose. so yea, i didn't under dose :)

and doominus, is it? its good to meet you. i'm a little skeptical i admit; i mean, whose bright idea was it to make doom a moderator of hell? could that be more ironic if we tried? (shakes head). oh well. if you can put up with this crowd and work with Issi, then you're ok in my book. if you can't tell by how we..interact, abyss and I used to date, so you don't need to get too worried about us tearing each other's throats out or anything. it's kind of what we do these days, though i wish it wasn't. it might seem pathetic, but i still carry a torch for abyss. we're an odd pair, so i guess what i'm saying is don't worry about us being an odd pair lol.

i call BS on being laconic. Do you remember all the times we worked together on the zoids site, making histories, characters, zoids, and what not? It was you and me working on everything. You can do great things when you put your mind to it, abyss; the only thing holding you back is yourself, not being laconic or anything.

As for rose colored glasses, it's to see everything as being rosy, or good. It's looking back at the past, and seeing only the spring time roses of good times, and ignoring the winters of bitter fights. I tend to remember things being quite good between us for the most part, with it ending rather painfully and suddenly, with no warning. But that could be my rose colored glasses; maybe we had more problems than I realized, and i was blind to those troubles. As you know, i am blind without my glasses, and the wrong prescription on the rose colored pair would leave me worse than blind; it would leave me thinking i could see while keeping the ugly truths from reacing my eyes. What things did i miss because my glasses kept the truth from me? I don't know, but it's one of those things I obsess over, that if i had been paying more attention, i could have done something to keep you by my side. so i guess rose colored glasses is an expression of regret. does that make sense?

Easy, other than the enemy power boost, reinforcements come at the beginning of their turn rather than the end. You call BS too much, oh and this time I am gunning for you: you can be a bit of an idiot: I am a gamer and H5 mode is pretty far from the hardest thing I've ever done(not even the hardest in FE) I've beaten Airman, the Yellow Devil, Ninja Gaiden on hard(both the old and the newer series), Punched out Tyson, I've even survived perfect Cherry Blossom's bullet hell(an achievement I've never even come close to repeating); I defeated Abyssion without the all divide(and got enough grade that time around to bring everything over), cleared Lufia II's ancient cave and Doukutsu sacred grove. I've lived and died by the motto "no sleep till clear"

There seems to be a lot of miscommunication here. Make it clear as to what you're saying, and don't assume the other person's psychic. Likewise, if someone says something you don't understand, read it again, make sure it sinks in, and if it doesn't, just ask politely, "I'm sorry, what did you mean by that?" And just be civil. While honesty is appreciated, there's no need to make unnecessarily derogatory comments, and there is CERTAINLY no need to point your finger at others. That's not too much to ask, is it?
