has anyone else noticed that sheer grind in life makes everything seem so meaningless, the snow was very pretty today so I just can't help but feel this post is being made during the wrong season

life's a show we don't get to rehearse... there's going to be a lot of suckiness to it. the grind of laundry, work, cooking, dishes, trash, cleaning the house, back to work, etc etc. it will get you down from time to time. that's why you need to do wacky and crazy things in your free time, to make the grind more bearable. i find having a roommate i like helps a ton too, as it breaks up the routine.

just remember, there are times that suck, but that is what allows us to appreciate the good all the more :)

Yeah, most of the time I'm sure we won't factor other people's opinions into our own thought processes. I guess we already know what we're going to do, but the question we're REALLY trying to ask is "How good/bad should I feel about this?" In a way, it's hopeful, because it means we're trying to feel shame, but...ultimately, no.

I think that you're right on spot. It's only half the reason, though.
The other reason is gauging what actions they would return, thus to score most possible benefits and avoid improportionally severe backfires.

because humans in general do not liked to be frowned upon and discouraged we always want to choose the best choice even if there isn't one. We want to make others happy so they will show some sort of companionship.

easier said than done, i'm afraid. i try to will myself to stop thinking, focusing on my breathing say, but then i start thinking "why isn't this working already?!" and i go back to thinking other things.

i have tried reading before bed, masterbating, video games, etc, but i always end up thinking about whatever i was doing; the next chapter of the book i'm reading, the next part of the game i'm playing, etc.

what i wouldn't give to be able to fall asleep easily...
