You actually managed to make a somewhat valid point despite your dickheadedness however you still fail in that if you were actually here for that game we decided fairly early on that expedience was important, though as a counterpoint we had roughly 3 times the regular posters then than we do now so it might not be as important as it used to be but I still want to keep the game running quickly and smoothly.

Why not? Its very hard to use those hints without using any external source. I don't think its possible for someone to remember creators and release dates for every anime.

you can guess right in 2 cases - you've seen the anime/know it or you're just lucky with a random guess, otherwise, there's no sense in this game. maybe i'm wrong though.

No you can't if there are no subtitles. Even if there are subtitles like "plane" or "solid", you will get millions of results.

Not that it's relevant, but suppose a picture from the second season of an anime were posted. What if someone guessed the correct series and failed to mention the season, and then someone guessed afterward, before the poster had a chance to declare a winner, naming the season as well as the series?
Is it about Speed or Accuracy?

Season doesn't really mater unless the second season is really it's own anime, for example Ef a tale of memories isn't the same as Ef a tale of melodies but if the clip is from Higurashi then season doesn't really matter.

Scorchedenigma is very, very close with "The big O". Abyssion and worldscraziestanimefan are fairly close, as well: This OAV series has a look very similar to Osamu Tezuka's drawing style, so it looks older than it really is. It's not a Tezuka creation, though.
