OMG, ZELDA ON THE 3DS, who the hell cares, it's a remake of a game that I have at least 4 copies of from different releases and on a gimmick system with worse battery life than the sega game gear. Which is the worst part, having no battery life ruined the idea of the whole thing for me, sure 3D being a gimmick didn't help but you can do some cool things with it sometimes. As much as I like Nintendo I can't get behind this.

As for me, I'm playing a bunch of of Atlus and NIS games, looking forward to Catherine and I've the TWEWY to occupy myself. Also Max Payne

<.< I'll get Zelda once it comes out, haven't played it since N64. As for battery life, I really haven't noticed. I just plug it in if I'm at home, or driving. As for it being as bad as the Gear Gear, nothing can be that bad. I still have my Game Gear, you're lucky to get 2 to 4 hours of gameplay off normal batteries (6 AA if you recall....).

Hey, it could be worse - Microshaft could have made a handheld and tried to sell it. xD

Other than that, still waiting on the damn Duke to be released (10+ years of waiting... *-_-), and eventually Skyrim.

Last weekend I was hitting up the Splinter Cell games. the original, pandora tomorrow, chaos theory, and double agent. all the good ones. was having an awesome time, until the AI in the first two kept ****ing me in retarded ways. Because apparently in those days, guards could see through 2 sets of brick walls and were telepathic with each other. And once I got to Chaos Theory I just quit. I've messed around on that game so much that I knew every inch of each level. And it got boring really quick.

Although I did have the most hilarious thing happen to me in the first one that had me laughing for 10 minutes straight. Seriously! I couldn't stop laughing! It involved me screaming whilst falling to my death in front a large glass window that a guard just happened to be looking out.:D

And finally my beloved water slide, which DOES NOT work anymore. I was so pissed! The water psychics must have changed in the past year. because you used to be able to a ride a boat into the middle and go up to the top. I had a lot of fun with water in that game. but now none of it works! the squids seems to like it though

yeah, i've never played any of them. but i've seen a Let's Play for 1 and 2 and watched my friend play 4. i'd definitely say 4 is the best. you know, that is a very interesting concept. you'd probably have to change a lot in the game, but at the same time maybe you wouldn't... because the game is laid out the same way as any other game. it's just the camera that makes it strange. hmm, this certainly is something to think about.

true, but the whole thing about that game was that it was difficult to see zombies because of the camera. it made it scarier when they popped up. and you weren't sure when to expect it because it happened much less. also i don't know if the environment would work as well in third person. would tight hallways and small rooms be alright? because 4 and 5 had very open areas for you to work in most the time. then again, I feel like there is much more horror and realism in being crammed into a tiny hall with ten or twenty zombies.

Okay, listen...I like Leon, he's a good protagonist despite the fact he's just a younger, less experienced version of Chris Redfield. But his characterization is inconsistent, his character development is virtually nonexistent and his "romantic subplots" are really kind of distracting and don't go anywhere. He passes on Claire, he eventually passes on Ada, he passes on Manuela, he outright says no to Ashley, and he gets close to Angela, but walks away from it.

Leon's interactions with other characters are SUPERB though in later games. His witty banter with both Claire and Krauser in Darkside Chronicles is probably some of the best lampshade hanging in the RE series. But in Degeneration he turns into a cold, robotic character with a few witty remarks and little else. He's definitely part of the weaker half of RE's 4 main protagonists, and if RE6 is what I think its going to be, he'll have his last chance to redeem himself if it does come out before Damnation. Settle his "grudge" with Ada, find Sherry again, and maybe, (just maybe) shake hands with Chris or hell, even exchange dialogue with him...and I will truly enjoy it.

Other than that, as I said I like Leon (a lot!) but he does not need to be the character that carries the RE franchise until its eventual conclusion.

2 things;

1, little big kirby is what I call Kirby's Epic Yarn, because they clearly took their inspiration from somewhere

B, Games getting easier isn't a bad thing necessarily when you consider that early console games were difficult because the devs were still in the mindset of making arcade games which were unfairly hard to eat more of your money or were very poorly programmed, those were the days before play testing. I admit some games take easy to ridiculous extremes but we still have quite a few difficult new games if you both looking for them.

They did, though I'm not saying they ripped off anything, they were subtle enough about it and didn't egregiously copy. They still clearly took good notes while playing LBP. Also it's 'you're mistaken' not 'your mistaken' the way you say it makes no sense and I prefer people who are going to criticize me to be able to use the form or words.

If it weren't for Skyrim, it'd probably be Game of the Year.
No, I haven't forgot about Saints Row the Third. It's just that with horde and other forms of multiplayer, I can find myself entertained for a long period of time, but Saints Row, as much as I love it, I'm not sure that I'll find myself playing it as much as Gears; however, Saints nor Skyrim have been released yet, so I can't really make a call such as this.
