Re watched Slayers Try, The season with the best plot of them all in a series that has been the king of fantasy comedy animes, what's not to enjoy

Sekarei season 1, it was ok. seemed like a refinement of Ikko Tousen. though it felt kinda forgettable

Birdy the Mighty Decode season 1. I found this to be a very fun series.

The only parts of Clannad that'll make you sad are the end of the Fuko arc, Nagisa's death, Ushio's death, and Tomoya's death.

The first episode was confusing enough, but then I added to it by not remembering anything that happened in the first season. How far in did you watch? Because I totally agree with you. By the end of the second episode I was ready to drop it. But I stayed with it. And it got better. The beginning of the show doesn't really give you a clear view of what the show is about. I think you should watch another episode or two. If it still sucks, then by all means, go right ahead and drop it.

A few days ago I watched The Ugly Yet Beautiful World. In short, it sucked. I would say it was Elfen Lied 2, due to them being so much alike, but they came out at the same time. They were produced by different companies so I don't know why they were so similar. The animation for the fight scenes was superb, some of the best I've seen. But then they never had any fights. And the plot made it feel like there should have been more ass kicking. The story was nothing new. Then to add to it, the ending was absolute trash. A big monster shows up and you think, "Oh awesome battle coming up!" but no! it was horrible. I fast forwarded through the last three episodes. All it was was them saying the same line over and over and over "You're not a monster." "yes I am!" god, shut up already! Does anyone else annoyed by people in animes with strong morals? Because after seeing so many shows I am so ****ing sick of people who care about every little thing!

It really was a strange ending. I figured it was supposed to be realistic or something. Because in real life, not everything turns out right. It seemed like that's the type of ending they were going for. I liked it better that way though. It was satisfying enough for me.

I just got done with Loups-Garous. It was total crap and full of plot holes:

A cannibal, who can live past 100 years for no reason, wants to eat human flesh really bad, so he builds this perfect system in which people will live in a utopia. He will be able to choose what children to eat, and, when he choses them, he makes it look like a serial killer is on the loose, which is kinda stupid since he created and society without any crime.

The main characters are four High School girls with plot armor and amazing computer skills. The one that's actually a serial killer because someone failed to rape her when she was little. But no worries, she's a good guy despite killing people.

yeah, i'd suggest not watching it. it was kind of graphic. plus, it's one of those shows where they take forever to do anything. they just stare at each other for half an episode.

Shigurui isn't horror it's just a gore fest, which is kind of sad, having way too much gore is like having way too much fanservice, it can ruin a decent story fairly quickly.

is funny, I really enjoyed watching it... but is more ecchi than comedy and the manga is much better (although I haven't seen the 2nd season, I know that the manga is still better)

the problem is that if you read the manga, you'll look like a pervert, cos it has a LOT of ecchi....

I changed my mind about watching Angel Beats. The first episode didn't impress me. I'll get around to it at some point, just not now. I ended up watching Macross Frontier instead, which is sort of funny because the main reason i chose to not watch Angel Beats was because it's still in japanese, but so is macross. :D so i don't know. action beats out story sometimes. and the action sequences in macross aren't too shabby. i found myself saying "wow that was awesome" at some points. and i rarely get that feeling

edit: ending sucked and overall it wasn't very good. but i liked ranka and fell in love with the song aimo. so it wasn't a complete waist

Holy hell. Watched the Digimon movie again for the first time in years! SO GOOD! So many hilarious lines and the fight scenes weren't that bad. The animation was better than I remembered. It makes me want to re-watch some of the seasons. Oh man, and I can't believe how funny it was.

Was watching Tales of Symphonia and the second part, Tethe'alla. WOW! I didn't notice before but those fights are SICK! I'm really into acrobatic action. People jumping around, spinning, and stuff. And I'd pretty much written off anyone ever doing the kind of action that I like, but damn man. Tethe'alla starting off with Zelos and the kicking guy fighting on the church was the happiest moment of my life! I was flipping out at how mind blowingly PERFECT that scene was!

Ah, the Digimon Movie, good memories.

Although It is pretty bad when you consider that it was a badly edited combination of three OVA's. (Those being Digimon Adventure, Our War Game, and Hurricane Touchdown) which are much better and less rendundant non-dub. (Diabolomon was born by either the Y2K virus or a digimon perusing through 4chan, officially y2k)

The last OVA was an aweful adition to the movie though, the first part was boss, but the dubbers just crudely dubbed in the references to Willis creating Diabolomon. they should have just waited till 02 was over and added in Revenge of Diabolomon, which would have made the movie ten times better, instead of posting the movie right at the beginning of 02, seriously I didn't even know who the hell Davis, Yolei or Cody Were!)

There are also two Tamer's OVA's which were damn good too.

Just finished Digimon season 2 earlier today. Still debating "getting" season 3. What i saw when i was younger i liked, but i didn't get far into it and i know every season after sucked Etemon balls.

I've been watching it in between my first re-watch of TTGL.

The art style is...weird.
The voice acting is as good as BW.
The storyline is kind of 'eh - more so when you take into account the continuity errors.

However, it's biggest problem is it's lack of focus.
It goes from 'OMG WE'RE CYBORGS to OMG LETS WORSHIP AL GORE to OMG JESUS IN AN APE SUIT to...' **** it.

But, for 26 episodes it's not all that bad.
However, I think half the reason I don't mind it is because of Black Arachina.
