when using Photoshop CS3 and the text mode, write your text and on the top, just under the tools/filters bar there is the text tools toolbar. and on the far right there is a circular arrow going counter-clockwise. click it and select Arch from the drop down menu. Else is self-explanatory.

And also, i was looking at my sig and thaught that guys... you know the lithuanian flag by now... but the colours actually have meanings you know, and i was taking those meanings were so natural that it hadn&#39;t hit me before that i haven&#39;t told you that. So there:
Yellow is the sun that shines over Lithuania (very nice!)
Green is the land of Lithuania (very nice!)
Red ...is the blood of it&#39;s people that has been spilled to protect Lithuania (very...yeah...)

Watching death note also, if you&#39;re making the leaderboard - i passed acutekat in ppd also.
Pronounciation - "L" put your tongue right where your teeth meet the roof of your mouth (on the inside part ofcourse) then open your mouth just slightly, leaving somewhat 1-2 cm gap between your upper and lower teeth. Now quickly (not awkwardly quickly though, just fast enough) switch from saying "l" to saying "u" - best word for practice - Loo :D Also, your tongue must brush the inside of your teeth while descending. Something liek that. But i think you can get your dad to explain it to you because russian has something at least a bit similar, i&#39;ll just write my name in cyrillic, he should be able to pronounce it within 80% correctness of it&#39;s true sound. ?????. There we go. A bit rusty on finding those cyrillic letters :D

Haha, I&#39;m not in any way worried about a nuclear war actually. It&#39;s about as unlikely as an asteroid at this point. I mean think about it, the number of people who actually want the world to end and have the power do do it... well, there are none. And I&#39;ve NEVER been afraid of terrorists. Don&#39;t think it&#39;s possible for me to be afraid of something with such a low likelihood of occurrence, I&#39;m too logical a person. Same thing about sharks, lightning, and a lot of other stuff. The only reason I&#39;d leave is that I want to be somewhere I can make a difference and feel like my voice is being heard. Well the world sure as hell isn&#39;t going to disappear into a black hole. I mean, I&#39;m close to positive that the current physics theories on subatomic particles aren&#39;t accurate, but it&#39;s simply not possible for the end of the universe to occur.

The basic state of the universe at that level would have to be unstable, allowing the micro-black holes that are formed to grow. And if the basic state of the universe was unstable, the first black hole ever would have destroyed the universe instantly already.

In terms of finding the Higgs-Boson: I&#39;m not as sure as they are about finding it, but I think they&#39;ll end up with something else that will answer some questions for them, at least for now.

Of course, if they screw up the accelerator, then there could be some damage, albeit localized... in a relative sense. Everyone remembers the positron cannon from Evangelion, right? It the particle beam escapes the ring, there could be some pretty interesting effects. Of course, the thing most likely to suffer is the Collider itself, but the amount of energy released might cause a cave in. And that wouldn&#39;t be fun for any town that happens to be above wherever it happens.

It&#39;s a really cool style. No shading except for straight black. Highly dramatic. I have to try it sometime. Mike Mignola (the guy who wrote/drew Hellboy) uses a similar style to great effect.

Well i&#39;m no physicist but ill try to explain what i understood :D They created some kind of radiation emitters that send waves of radiation which bounce inside the collider and when the particle passes them the machine takes a picture of them using that radiation. Kind of an updated x-ray to thin kabout it.

They use a proton gun (actually located in the older particle accelerator nearby) to fire a proton (or a gold nucleus (quite popular) or any charged particle they want) into the accelerator. The accelerator consists of a gigantic (~15 miles) long circular corridor lined with electromagnets. Because the beam is a charged particle, they can use the EMs to accelerate the particle to close the speed of light without it touching anything. Then they drop a target into the path of the beam (usually something similar to what&#39;s in the beam and they record what happens using very large (one ways more than the Eiffel Tower) EMs and other scanners.

If one of the EMs screws up, the beam hits the wall and all that energy is released into the ground. Not fun. Except from a distance.

Well... it&#39;s dangerous anyway. The closer something is to the speed of light, the heavier it is. With an accelerator this big, even a proton could do some serious damage.

no denying that but even at that speeds it would not be able to do more than bending the colliders pipe badly. With spedd and power everything is relative. If you count that it hits at the speed of light, then the mass is equal to that of the proton. If you count that it hits at 1/2 the speed of light it&#39;s like the mass squared and so on. And every possibility will yield the same results, until you reach a mass and speed ratio where the speed would not be enough to cause any damage nevermind the weight and there you go - your possible damage assumption. Though that would involve a ****load of math.

Just finished watching Death Note... at WORK :D that&#39;s the idea of how much of work to be done there is here in the summertimes :D

A year later two of the guys that were in his team are talking about how great the city ( or not ) is with Kira dead an all, and I believe they&#39;re wondering if the whole city full of fangirls knows that as well.
The final pages take place in ( what looks like the mountains ) where a lot of people have candles and are walking in a line ( I think ) to the edge ( don&#39;t remember ) and Misa stands out from the rest and I believe she says his name.. or Kira.. dunno.

Which song do you use for the AMV and much time it took you to make the 40 seconds? I never made an AMV so I got no clue on how hard it is...

If i can get adobe to cooperate (after reinstalling all codecs) i&#39;ll show a sneak preview. Also, it&#39;s not that hard, it&#39;s just time-consuming. You pick a part of a song, try to remember which episode has a good place and teh nwatch the whole episode. And you repeat,repeat,repeat that again and again and again.

A good AMV can actually take quite a long time. I sometimes just make half-assed ones and those can take me like three days.

it will be dryer than this one and less tasty but if you elave it long enough the effect wil llook pretty much the same. :D
