That's actually true. Often times when I look at the price of building vs. outright buying, the price of building is like, $20 cheaper or something. Then there's the possibility of parts arriving at your door DOA....

I think microsoft might have needed one to keep up with ps3 but I don't think sony needed one.

Id also like to appologize for previous comment were I implied gamers are now a group of commformonist sheep.

I'd also like to say I'm giving up on the whole argument that updates and patches for games are stupid and that games should work out of the box.

since the world has the internet I guess that the day one update to let the Xbox one play games is fine, as is authentification for the ps4 to use dvds and blu-rays just because I don't understand somthing doesn't make it wrong.

I acknowledge that having to patch something on the first day is annoying, but I don't plan on buying an Xbox One at any point in the near future, so it's of very little concern to me. With the age of systems being connected to the net it does give the companies a chance to fix problem that might have not been found during testing but on the other hand it seems like companies have become lazy and figure they can just push out broken games and hope fix it later but I think we can thank the pressure of deadlines for that.

Things will always eventually need fixing after release, this is unavoidable. But that doesn't mean you should be releasing something you know needs to be fixed right away. That's like selling a new car and telling everyone that buys it that the brake system doesn't work right and you need to replace it before they can drive it home.

MOBAs have a terrible community. You know those people that keep asking you to do something with them, then you find out it's cause they didn't want to do it alone? Yeah MOBAs are that: The Genre. It's like those dudes and dudettes that say "yeah I don't really like Black Ops 2....but the zombie mode is pretty fun with friends!" The people that play the games themselves don't even really say it's that good, mostly people playing MOBAs are tryhards that don't like fighting-games or FPS so they moved to moba.

Now let me blow your mind: Imagine you're good enough to do really well, and you team up with others who are really good, and you destroy the other team. Now say a new match pops up, and one of your guys gets replaced with say...this Brazilian dude who is incredibly high and new to the game. The match will go on a bit longer, but your team is only as strong as the weakest link, so this means that in this situation you could get beat by even new players.

See? It's that Mario Party kind of random where being good helps, but someone could win just by being lucky, you don't even really HAVE to be good as long as someone else ruins the match for their team. Now imagine there's tons of foreigners, trolls, children, and generally unintelligent individuals. You have a game that can be anywhere from fun, to one of the worst experiences you've had in an online game.

Oh, and you spend an hour clicking on one dude while you could just be playing Command and Conquer or something. If I wanted to have a guy and his two retarded friends jump around a battlefield for a little while and attack each other, I'd be playing Marvel vs Capcom since I can get that done in a minute or two, rather than having to waste an entire hour on it.

The people that play the games themselves don't even really say it's that good, mostly people playing MOBAs are tryhards that don't like fighting-games or FPS so they moved to moba.

Now let me blow your mind: Imagine you're good enough to do really well, and you team up with others who are really good, and you destroy the other team. Now say a new match pops up, and one of your guys gets replaced with say...this Brazilian dude who is incredibly high and new to the game. The match will go on a bit longer, but your team is only as strong as the weakest link, so this means that in this situation you could get beat by even new players.

I know you haven't played MOBA's at all but the whole "strong as your weakest link" doesn't really apply, or shouldn't apply, in a 5v5 scenario. If you say throw that new guy into the bot lane as the support character then you really dont have to worry about much. They may die a lot but as long as the other two lanes destroy, like you said they would, then you will have no problems in team fights. Even if you put that scrub player in any sort of carry spot you can still easily win team fights 4v5 if the rest of the team knows how to position yourselves for team fights, focus fire and take advantage of the mistakes of the other team. Even if the other team is as good as you but with the last player being way better than yours you can still win a game.


See? It's that Mario Party kind of random where being good helps, but someone could win just by being lucky, you don't even really HAVE to be good as long as someone else ruins the match for their team. Now imagine there's tons of foreigners, trolls, children, and generally unintelligent individuals. You have a game that can be anywhere from fun, to one of the worst experiences you've had in an online game.

I don't see how this can be anything but fun. I might just have a ****ed up sense of humor but seeing little children get beat and trolled out of games, seeing foreigners try to communicate and talk ****, seeing extremely bad trolls get angry because they are losing a game they were supposedly trolling, and seeing unintelligent people get angry at teammates, making up horrible excuses and thinking up battle strategies for team fights that don't make sense is hilarious. I can't really speak for KoF, but SSFIV AE 2012 is very good. Probably not the kind of thing you'd like, but if I were going to recommend a PC fighting game to someone, it's definitely going to be that over M.U.G.E.N.. Even if you're getting your **** pushed in by Asians, you can turn the match around with a revenge-fueled Ultra Combo.

My rage is fairly focused and will affect anyone that I deem as a degenerate, rather than being blind and wide hitting. Sounds like a lot of first experiences in MOBA's. I remember I first played LoL with a group of my Hombres and they were all the highest summoner level, which is 30. I got my ass kicked while trying to figure out all the different game mechanics... But I decided to try a few games on my own against people my same summoner level and I did exceedingly well. I then went to try to play another game with my bros and got demolished again....
