I have a question;

A character in an anime is usually drawn in the traditional anime style. If the episode's plot in the anime is to draw a realistic self-portrait of themselves, would the portrait be drawn in the traditional anime style? If the answer is yes, then would the manga and anime the characters read and watch be considered life-like in that specific anime's world? If the answer is yes, would that mean the show the anime's character is watching is animated realistically or would the anime's character be watching a sit-com?
