Mine was actually quite similar. My first desktop worked fairly well, but the laptop I got later took about 10 minutes just to open the web browser. The internet was actually sort of fast for Dial up, but that's still not really saying much.

Oh, and I thought of another anime you might like:

Guin Saga (http://bakabt.me/149372-guin-saga-aniyoshi-frong.html) - It's a show about a man with a leopard mask eternally stuck to his face has lost his memory and is following around two children to get it back. At the same time, these children are trying to take back their kingdom that was captured by a formerly allied nation. It's kind of like Lord of the Rings.

There are plenty of good fights on this show, but there was usually no blood, for some reason. Which is sort of funny, when you consider all the stabbings slashings, and chokings that occur in just about every episode.

Hilariously enough, there was even a fight where the main character punched a knight's helmet in, and there was still no blood. Later, he smashed a man's face against a tree and actually set it on fire, yet there was still no blood.

If you're looking for a really bloody anime, try Ninja Scroll (http://bakabt.me/126840-ninja-scroll-dual-audio.html). This movie had everything: Blood, rape, gore, rape, and plenty of murder. Oh, and some rape.

And, of course, the ninjas in this show were more like actual ninjas than certain other anime (http://www.cracked.com/funny-5027-naruto-vs.-real-ninjas/) seem to portray them.

And regarding Guin Saga, there are apparently a few restrictions to what you can show on regular TV anime in Japan at certain times. That's why some directors choose to make OVAs or get a timeslot where the easily offended wouldn't be watching.

The sex scenes weren't really there for the purpose of arousal, rather disgust. Essentially, they had a stone guy violate some kunoichi just to show that he was evil and a bit twisted. There was another, but it was basically in there for the same purpose, to show how twisted the characters were.

Sort of reminds me of Violence Jack, another anime where a bunch of ugly characters raped/mutilated people for the sake of disgust.

Hilarious stuff, in my opinion. That probably says a lot about me...

Because most of the voice actors are acting as if the show is targeted towards 4kids' demographic, thus they obviously aren't taking their roles very seriously. The show is supposed to invoke deep thought and emotions of sympathy, sorrow and suspense; however, like the anime itself, they fail at this horrifically.

Indeed... Midori days especially, being only 8 volumes long, was especially hard to end for me too (I just got around buying the last volume five days ago at a *BLEEP*-con)
When a series lasts forever, you're always annoyed by the fact that nobody gets around to putting an end to the conflict. But when it is short and has a ending relatively soon, you always feel horrible to have to get it over with... Kinda like putting down an old dog...

You know what else had sort of a bad ending, in my opinion? Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Considering that pretty much all of team Dai-Gurren died. Of course, Gunbuster's ending was just as bad.

Went to the Chiropractor yesterday, to get a jaw/back massage. I got this huge woman who had humongous hands. Once she started massaging me it felt like she was punching me lol She felt the muscles in the back of my neck, that lead to my jaw and she said it feels like i have TMJ severely bad. But yeah, she was massaging me too roughly, and some points i tried to stifle any laughing because sometimes it tickled like hell. I'm getting the lesbian massagist that massaged me next time. My neck and back is sore as **** lol xDD

I have internet problems all of the time, though they're usually my own fault and relatively minor. I mess wires frequently and have to get the replaced.
