I loaded up my Muramasa save, apparently I got an accessory that gives me permanent save soul, making my character the most broken thing ever. Imagine if you will a game where weapon degradation is a major mechanic and the two things that degrade your weapon is using special moves and blocking, not imagine neither of those degrade your weapon anymore. So much ability spam, also you're invulnerable while using abilities.

Yeah, I want Achievements, that are well, ****ing Achievements. Its not an achievement to beat the Tutorial of game or getting past the first level. I want Achievements that you feel good showing them off, like I dunno, beating a "Nintendo Hard" game on it's highest difficulty? Or completing single every quest and side-quest in a large game like Skyrim? But yeah, I want to see achievements/trophies actually gives you something besides a score you do nothing with. Maybe get GamerPoints for certain achievements? Free Add-Ons for certain completed achievements/trophies?

Some games do give you things for achievements. Halo 3, Gears of War 2 and 3, Dead Rising, Soulcalibur 4, and.... That's all I can think of.

If I was a Bethesda fanboy who constantly sucks it's **** I would say the Mojang is **** and would have to change the name to Scrolls so Skyrim can be the better game, I did not. I was merely commenting on the blatant boycott of a good game by the so called "Indie Fanboys" which I found laughable that they even think it would effect the outcome, and taking their anger out on Bethesda not Zenimax itself.

Because Zenimax (Bethesda's parent Company) is Suing Mojang over the patent on the name "scrolls" which in a certain legal standpoint, if that patent went through, Bethesda's Lawyers seem to be convinced that Notch could theoretically sue Bethesda over "The Elder Scrolls" title. Of course Zenimax is being an enormous douchebag about it, and even after Notch offered a name change they are still pressing the suit.
The Minecraft/Mojang fans are now trying to protest by boycotting Skyrim...which isn't going to do a damn thing.

I've seen Notch's comments, and his attempts to change the name of his game, while Zenimax sued anyways. I'll stick to my guns and still say they are both at fault for even going ahead with this suit. Notch, however seems to take it as one big joke, while Bethesda's Lawyers are serious. Notch not taking it serious is his fault, as Bethesda's Lawyers true fear seems to be losing "The Elder Scrolls" trademark if Notch puts this game out. I know little about Trademark laws, but given the flawed system, that poses a real possibility.

And for Mojang, this case is actually increasing their publicity and Namesake. That means more sales, so the fans boycotting Skyrim is not only retarded, but also pointless as Mojang is making money more because of this, so this is actually helping him. As they say, Bad Publicity is GOOD publicity.

Both sides are at fault in this, Mojang for treating this as a big Joke, and Bethesda for going ahead with the suit even though Notch offered to change the name. I'm still going to buy Skyrim, and I'm going to buy Minecraft when I get my Paypal fixed.

I wouldn't expect it till the end of 2012 at the earliest. I'm also pretty sure they'll sort out any problems, Persona 4 is widely popular domestically and worldwide.

Yeah, and that's a pretty intolerant comment.

Much of the bull crap today was due a multitude of factors starting with the Fall of the Roman Empire and including The Dark Ages, Imperialism, The Cold War, and one could argue modern U.S. Foreign Policy. The Church was only problematic during the Middle Ages, and that is back when it was more of the only power unifying Europe together during the Dark ages, it did a lot of stupid ****, but without it, many modern European Nations probably wouldn't exist the way they are today.
The Modern Catholic Church is very much more open about ideas and such that some other churches that split away from it just shun. For example the modern church accepts that if Aliens exist that it wouldn't hinder their belief in god whatsoever that believe that since God is celestial all living sentient beings are obliged to worship. *The Church has it's own High Power Telescope for crying out loud* and I also think they also accept Evolution and the fact that the Earth is more than a few billion years old as fact, as it doesn't hinder belief in Jesus Christ at all, and they accept the Bible had some inaccuracies. *The World being Flat for one*

(That and one of the Vatican's favorite Manga is HELLSING. I'll leave you to dwell on that)

Can't help but to notice that a lot of the guys return, but many of the females (such as Taki, Sophitia, Xingua) do not and a relative or disciple take their place. I understand it's because the characters are getting older, but why just replace most of old the female cast? Why not some of the male cast as well? The Males are in there forties and fifties, but the moment one female character hits that age, you oust them? It seems an excuse for the game to include young female characters...FANSERVICE~

Aw, Hell naw. Master Chief and Kratos? **** That.
Give me some unique, fun, none overhyped characters that you wouldn't expect in a SC Game, would have a good move set, and fit in somewhat with the rest of the Fighters.
Kratos is far too overhyped the ****er appeared in both Mortal Kombat 9 and a previous Soul Calibur game. And while I like the Halo series, Master Cheif would be broken beyond belief and wouldn't fit in with the rest of the characters (and their fighting style) at all. Gordon Freedman would be both 360 and PC because Half-Life is for both and PC is Microsoft, so is Xbox, therefore he would be in both games. But even I don't want him the games either.
Possible SC Characters I would like to see(Sticking to Videogames)

Batman: With the Success of Arkham City he would be an interesting choice, and considering the nature of the DC universe, he could cross over into the world with little side-effect to his own canon. (Unlike Vader and Yoda where they appear and **** up there own Canon) That and he would use Fisticuffs as his primary fighting style, I don't think other characters in Soul Calibur use their hands *Voldo uses Katars* as fighting weapons.

The Joker: If Batman makes it in, then his Iconic nemesis would likely follow. Joker would consist of kicking, and gag related attacks, much like how he appeared in MortalKombat Vs. DCU.

Catwoman: Tying the rest of the trio together, Catwoman would be unlocked like the Sith Apprentice in the last game. Using similiar fighting style to Batman, as well as using Ground based attacks like Voldo or Lizardman. Catwoman could be a spunky fighter, which would tie this set together nicely.

Commander Shepard: This would be a fun choice and a few interesting things could be done with his/her character.
For One: If you have a Mass Effect 1,2 or 3 savefile, the game uses your Shepard's appearance for the fighter.
For Two: Whether or not he is Paragon or Renegade in said file would effect his or her taunts, speaking and story ending.
For Three: Shepard's "Win" in SCV would bring forth a new item and continuity nod into Mass Effect 3. Such as a Soul Edge (if Renegade) or Soul Calibur (if Paragon) powered Biotic Power/Weapon etc.
His or Her Fighting style would consist of his or her Omniblade, some Biotics based attacks and maybe a one shot esque attack like Cervantes's gunblade.
That and it could be done for Ps3, 360 AND PC. So all the consoles win.
Even though this would be highly likely to happen, it would still be pretty boss.

Not with the inclusion of the Omniblade where he or she could get a more interesting fighting style which involves Brawling and slicing. His Pistol would probably be his only ranged weapon to make it fair, and besides Cervantes uses a similar tactic.

And I concur with Batman, seriously he would make an awesome character I'm seeing a whole load of pro's and not many cons with him.

Taki's been confirmed as a DLC character last I heard.
Also Sophitia and Cassandra have been replaced by Sophitia's kids, and Xianghua has been apparently replaced by her 15 year old daughter.

Correction. The little green rock is the only thing that can kill Superman. And is there a red sun anywhere near Earth? nope.
Goku can destroy planets, but why would he do such a thing? He's a good guy, therefore he would have no point in doing such. Superman can resist that **** anyways. That, and Goku is still too clueless to find a small green rock that can hurt Sups before it is too late. That and Superman can REVERT Time, Fly/Run as fast as the Flash, Lift an entire Continent, Fire Lasers from his among other ****. That and Goku takes too damn long with his attacks, the Spirit Bomb requires him to wait a long while as he gathers the energy, plenty of time for Sups to fly in and punch his ass all the way back across the planet.

Afterall Superman and the Justice League beat back foes which threaten not just the Universe, but the entire Multiverse.

Also you forget that Goku even while in the oh so precious Super Saiyan was killed too. (either by Cell or Buu, can't remember...maybe both)
And Darkseid is DC's equivalent to Freiza/Buu/Cell, one of which has killed Goku.
Superman is also far more intelligent than Goku. Goku is your typical, Shounen, mentally defective protagonist. Superman actually uses his brain in a fight and not spam laser beams and punches at random like Goku.

I got into it when I played Shadow Hearts: Covenant. I liked the game world and the emphasis on demons and mythology with the sort of gothic feel and ect. That kind of stuff is right up my ally.

Ezio is by far the most reasonable guest character in a Soul Calibur game in a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. I guess I'd give credit to Loyd Irving in the wii game but that wasn't a soul calibur game it was a hack 'n slash adventure with soul calibur characters. Link in 2 was alright, aside from the silly projectiles they really shouldn't have included but they were really easy to avoid.

4. Decent isn't really the word I'd use to descibe the average story of the guest characters. The stories were:

Ezio died well before the events of Soul Calibur, so the only way I can see them adding in Ezio is with the help from Zasalamel.

I think my friend solved the problem by suggesting Cloud. The reason Heihachi got used was because Namco could use him for free (probably why Lloyd got used as well, but at least Lloyd fit in somewhat)
